30 Days, 30 Ways

The Virginia Department of Social Services is celebrating the power of community and encouraging everyone to get involved through a new "30 Days, 30 Ways” social media campaign. Throughout the month of May, we’ll share one simple way each day on Facebook that Virginians can support children in foster care—whether it’s donating essentials for a child or new foster parents, spreading the word about your community’s needs, mentoring a teen, or taking a step towards becoming a foster parent yourself.

Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone has something to offer foster and kinship families. Find your something below!
